The Thiruvananthapuram area maintained its dominance within the CBSE class 12 exams, whose outcomes have been introduced on Monday, registering a excessive go share of 97.67.
Earlier, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had introduced the outcomes for Class XII exams and the general go share stood at 88.78, with ladies outshining boys. A complete of 11.92 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination.
The Thiruvananthapuram area of the CBSE congratulated all the scholars, lecturers and faculty authorities on registering the excessive go share.
“The region has been topping the charts from its very inception (in 2014). Hearty congratulations to all the school managements, principals, teachers and students for these meritorious achievements for grade 12 results,” Dr Indira Rajan, Secretary-General of the National Council of CBSE colleges, instructed PTI.
The area includes colleges in Kerala and Lakshadweep Islands.
A complete of 35,439 college students registeredfor the examination in Kerala, out of which 35,359 appeared and 34,536 handed.
At least 17,960 ladies and 17,399 boys appeared for the examination in Kerala out of which 17,676 ladies and 16,860 boys handed the examination.
Meanwhile, in Lakshadweep, all 9 college students – two boys and 7 ladies – who appeared for the examination handed.
The exams have been held for 649 colleges in Thiruvananthapuram area with 214 examination centres. PTI RRT SA NVG NVG
