PM Modi wishes teacher’s day, salutes former President Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan

New Delhi Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Union Education Minister Ramesh Prasad Nishank and other prominent leaders greeted the nation on the occasion of Teacher’s Day on Saturday. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the teachers and wished the countrymen on Teachers’ Day. He also paid tribute to Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

The Prime Minister tweeted, “We will always be grateful for the contribution of hard working teachers.” On Teacher’s Day, we express our gratitude for the incomparable contribution and efforts of the teachers. We pay tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary. ‘

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has also tweeted and congratulated on this occasion. He wrote, ‘Salute to the President Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan ji on his birth anniversary and best wishes to all the countrymen on Teachers’ Day. 9 crore teachers from school to university enable the next generation of the country.
