New Delhi Today is the second day of the monsoon session of Parliament amidst the coronavirus. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is giving a speech in the Lok Sabha on the ongoing deadlock between India and China. The defence minister’s statement is significant because the opposition has demanded a debate on the issue. Rajnath Singh recently met China’s Defense Minister General Wei Feng in Russia’s capital Moscow. On the very first day, Congress gave a clear indication by stopping the work on the first day that it would try its best to surround the government on this issue.

In the Rajya Sabha, Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said that the corona virus death rate is 1.67 percent and the recovery rate is 77.65 percent. There are 55 deaths on 10 lakhs. Several bills passed amid protests

On the very first day of the session, the government introduced five bills in the Lok Sabha. Despite opposition to ordinances related to agricultural reforms, three bills were introduced. Apart from this, the government has also passed two bills from Lok Sabha. At the same time, the Congress strongly opposed the bills related to the agriculture sector inside and outside the House and said that the government is leaving the farmers and mandis on their mercy by handing over-farming to the capitalists.

Nearly 30 Members of Parliament Corona Positive

Before the commencement of the Monsoon Session of Parliament on Monday, the staff of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha Secretariat and all the Members of Parliament were examined by Kovid-19. About 30 Members of Parliament and more than 50 Members of Parliament were found to be corona infected. Sources said those whose samples have been found positive have been asked to stay in the quarantine and not to come to the Parliament House.
