Leh, ANI. Amidst the ongoing tension along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh, the Indian Army has prepared for its jawans with all-weather accommodation and clothing, even if the temperature falls to -50 degrees in winter. The Army has stocked every commodity that is required to keep its personnel safe and alert during winters.
The army is providing multilevel clothing to soldiers deployed in high-level areas. According to Indian Army officials, these clothes will not only help the jawans to be protected from the weather, but it will also help them hide from the enemy.
They are equipped with many types of equipment, which require the jawans to climb mountains or walk comfortably in high altitude areas. The first layer of clothing consists of inner trousers and a dark jacket, while the second layer provided a green jacket and another set of trousers. Similarly, on the third layer, which is also the outer layer, a young man has to wear white shoes and special shoes with trousers.
